Kagote Primary is a mixed (boys and girls) school that was started by the Church of Uganda in 1958. It started as a sub-grade school operating in three grass thatched classrooms with the aim of educating the community around the area since it was the only primary school in that area. One Brick at a Time managed to successfully transform a canopy that was being used as a bicycle shade at the school into a modern classroom that will serve generations to come.
